Counseling
The Counseling Unit provides professional assistance to students in their personal and vocational aspirations. The primary aim of the unit is to promote student growth and development by helping them to become conscientious, well adjusted and thinking individuals.
The unit offers services such as individual counseling, group counseling, mini workshop, courses on communication skills, academic advising and career guidance.
Students are encouraged to come in and talk on matters of their concerns. It is advisable to set up an appointment to ensure availability of the counselor.
Computing
The computing facilities are to ensure that all student's have the means to access the information systems. The college has 150 workstations spread over all major sites, in teaching rooms, laboratories, library and administration building. The majority of the workstations are networked IBM PC compatible systems. Software includes word processing, spreadsheet and database packages plus a wide range of course-related programs.
Open Access computer laboratories are provided for students to do their assignments and are opened according to the needs of the students. Internet access facility is also available for the use of students and staff.
