INTRODUCTION TO PROGRAMMING

This subject is intended to introduce students to the theory and practice of programming and program design through the use of formal structure design methods and a structured high level programming language.

This subject is an extension of CSC 1154, which is intended to introduce students to the theory and practice of programming and program design through the use of formal structure design methods and a structured high level programming language.

The aim of this subject is to bridge the gap between formal mathematics taught at school and the practical use of the subject in a computing environment. This is achieved by reminding students of specific laws used in the manipulation of data and standard practices involved in the presentation of data in pictorial form.

FUNDAMENTAL ENGLISH I

This subject is aimed at helping students to learn basic grammar and writting skills that will be useful to them in learning other units at HND level. In addition, students are also helped in their preparation for the Malaysian University English Test, which is now a requirement to enter any Malaysian universities.

FUNDAMENTAL ENGLISH II

This subject is aimed at equipping students with the study skills in reading, speaking and listening that will prepare them to meet the various academic challanges at the Higher National Diploma level later. In addition, this subject will familiarize students with the appopriate strategies for answering questions in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
